He he, I Just Found Pirated Copy of my eBook!

Has this ever happened to you? This was the first time for me, so it was a bit surprising. However, I should have known better that info products are being distributed without their authors consent all across the Net these days!

So my story is like this. I was adding one of my info products - English Harmony System - to my eBay account.

As you can guess, the eBay listing’s title has to contain the right keywords - it’s pretty much like website’s keyword optimization. So I went to the BayEstimator and was doing a quick research under keywords like ‘learn English’ and ‘improve English’.

To my surprise, nothing relevant came up, so I decided to flip through the eBay listings and see what other English grammar and speech improving products are out there.

One of the first listings I came across was my English Harmony System!!!

He, he, this is how the seller had formatted it:

Doesn’t exactly look as the original, does it? And besides, this was just the free eBook - not the while system.

Nonetheless, I was outraged at this and immediately dropped e-mail to the seller and asked if he would be so polite and remove this listing.

But who knows, maybe he bought that eBook as a PLR stuff from someone who’d actually make the illegal copy of it?… Who knows, but the fact remains a fact - I don’t want anyone to sell even a part of my product!

And another thing. I’ve created this product as a eBook Pro file - so it can’t be copied into a pdf file. Someone has taken their time and just re-written the eBook. So there is one positive thing to this all - at least I know my product is top-notch quality because I doubt someone would waste their time rewriting some piece of crap!
